As summer unfolds, we are enjoying the full days of kids athletics summer camp and the leamington athletics summer evening sessions, sharing Edmonscote Athletics Track with so many new athletes.

IMPORTANT
All members paying monthly subscriptions do not need to re-enrol for September, we hold your place. We restart w/c Monday 1st September.
Not Coming Back in September?
If you've decided not to come back in September, please inform us before the next payment is due on August 1st.
Session Change?
If you need to change your training day due to other commitments, let us know in advance. This way, we can better accommodate your needs when September rolls around.
Moving Into Year 8?
For those whose children are moving into Year 8, your training will move to the later time of 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. If your child currently trains at 5:15 PM and this shift affects your plans, please get in touch.
New Sign-Ups
From August 18th, 12noon we will open the webiste to new members. Hit the 'join' tab to register or join a waiting list.
COMPETITIONS GALORE!

Each year the track & field season ends on September 30th. We encourage everyone affiliated with our club to take part in competitions. Competing helps refine your skills and strengthen our club spirit.

- 25th August: Stourport Mike Lambert Open (Event 681) 
- 6th September: Birchfield Harriers event in Birmingham (Event 744) 
- 14th September: Nuneaton Open (event 675) 
NB: Coach Rachel will be attending the 14th September Open at Nuneaton, to support any LAA athletes .

At this time of year we reflect on our club's achievments and consider how we can change and grow better for our team and for our athletes. If you have any feedback you wish to share, we take it all constructively to help develop track & field at LAA.
LAA GOALS
Autumn 2025 - Summer 2026
- More members racing in the cross country league (U11+) 
- More members competing indoors 
- Additional strength & conditioning sessions 
- Sunday hill training sessions for teens, in December & January 
- Winter training with spring & summer competition peaks 
- Support parents/coaches to become officials, to support the sport 
- Help inform members of the transition to the NEW AGE GROUPS being introduced by EA (April '26). 
- Grow a competitive LAA team through Youth Development League and other track events.
