WELFARE
LAA aims to create an environment where everyone involved feels safe and secure to enable them to achieve their potential in track & field.
Welfare covers a range of issues such as safeguarding and protecting children, anti-bullying, equity, poor practice in coaching as well as disciplinary and grievance matters.
LAA welfare encompasses policies and procedures which set out minimum standards of expectations. LAA works with England Athletics to meet their statutory responsibilities to safeguard and protect children.
