How Do We Compete?

Firstly, you need to be affiliated with England Athletics with your club and have an athletic licence (renew annually on 1st April)
NEW - if you aren't yet affiliated - email us info@leamingtonathletics.co.uk
RENEW - If you are already affiliated, we will be in touch to renew your licence (1/4/25)
Competition Options
League Meetings
Youth Development League (YDL), where are athletes selected to represent the club. LAA is excited to partner with Leamington C&AC to form a combined track and field league team for U13 and U15 athletes.
If your child is thinking about competing and representing LAA, we’re eager to hear from you. We are looking for participants in the following events:
Long Jump
High Jump
100m, 200m, 400m
800m, 1500m
Javelin and Shot Put

Open Meetings

Open meetings are events anyone can enter, if they are affiliated. If you are U9 or U11 you can do 75m or Quadkids events and if you are U13 upwards, you can select your favourite events at each meeting :-)
