This newsletter will guide you through what you need to know about the summer track of 2026 and has information about competition fixtures, new age groups and how to be affiliated with LAA to compete.

Any athlete wishing to compete must affiliate with England Athletics
through their club.
Cost: 23 each year
(U10 - FREE)
NEW AGE GROUPS
U10 years 3/4
U12 years 5/6
U14 years 7/8
U16 years 9/10
U18 years 11/12
U20 year 13/14
U10 & U12 athletes will compete in quadrathlons (4 events including 2 run, long jump and howler) where points are collated for their performance to find the overall winner.
U14 upwards can select their own events to compete in.
You can choose 1 event to enter or multiple.

GET COMPETING!
There are lots of athletics events in which to take part;
schools fixtures, clubs team matches and individual open meetings.
Open meetings are competitions which any affiliated athlete can enter.
No medals are given, athletes race to test themselves.
Check the link below to see which fixtures LAA athletes can take part in locally.
Ask your coach for guidance or email us to enquire.
We are going to be selecting athletes to represent LAA against other clubs,
in the Youth Developement League (YDL) lower age group.

Please check the dates and email us if you wish to be considered for selection, letting us know your strongest event(s).

YOU MUST HAVE AN LAA VEST TO COMPETE FOR CLUB
(NB: we do not hold a lot of stock orders can take 4-6 weeks)
SATURDAY SESSIONS
Affiliated Athletes only
As the Warwickshire County Championships approach we are offering 3 x Saturday sessions for affiliated athletes to train and have extra technical practice and coaching.
