West Mids XC - 7th December

U13 Boys Smashed It!

Well done to all 16 athletes who ran at the West Mids League fixture (3) at Newbold Revell last Saturday. They faced constant rain on a churned-up course!

Maya Green (U17G) had a fabulous run to finish 11th. A superb effort by Toby Price (U13B) earned him a surprising 12th-place finish. With 209 Parkruns under his belt, it seems training truly works!

Team Results (at least 4 finishers)

U11 girls: 3rd out of 19 clubs
U13 girls: 8th out of 21 clubs
U13 boys: 3rd out of 19 clubs
U15 boys: 6th out of 17 clubs

Overall team place: 14th out of 25 clubs

Warwickshire County Champs

On a chilly yet magnificent winter's day back at Warley Woods, athletes raced the brand new course layout to decide who would be crowned Warwickshire Champions.

Congratulations!

Fable Nash came 1st in the U11 boys race and is now the Warwickshire Champion.

Maisie Evans had a tremendous run and surprised herself by winning silver for Warwickshire U11 girls.

U13 boys Toby Price, who is in remarkable running form, earned himself 8th place.

With many LAA athletes racing for their first time, there were plenty of proud, smiley, and rosy-red faces at the end of their crisp morning race.
