New to Competition?

What You Need to Know



The first step is to affiliate with Leamington Athletic Academy (LAA).


Affiliation costs £20 per athlete per year.

It is *FREE for athletes under 11 years old.


To begin, send us an email at info@leamingtonathletics.co.uk. Request your affiliation, and we will add the cost to your next monthly payment.


Once we process your request, you will receive a Unique Reference Number (URN). This number is essential for entering events and tracking your results. It is assigned for your lifetime as an athlete.

Competed Before?

Renew Your Affiliation



If you have previously participated in competitions, congratulations on your achievements! To continue competing, you must renew your affiliation by April 25/26 for the upcoming season.


To renew, simply send an email to info@leamingtonathletics.co.uk. The renewal cost of £20 will be added to your next monthly payment, and your URN will remain the same.

Parents Evening

Explaining Competition



We will be hosting a Parents Evening at the club room on the track. This event will explain everything about competition at LAA. The session will last about 5-10 minutes, held at the start of each of the following dates:


Monday 31st March

5:15 PM & 6:30 PM


Wednesday 2nd April

5:15 PM & 6:30 PM


This is your chance to learn, ask questions, and understand how we support the athletes.

After becoming affiliated, the next step is to find competitions that interest you. You can check the events that LAA is entering here.


Additionally, you can search for more events across the country and enter using your URN by visiting Fixtures.
