WHY COMPETE?

Testing oneself against the clock or against others in a competition builds resilience, gives purpose to training plans and improves self confidence. We would like support all athletes to develop these attributes so you can feel like a superhero .
At LAA, we try to keep things simple and competition can be most confusing, so if you need to contact us to ask about anything, please do!
Check our LAA Fixtures list for an opportunity to build resilience through sport.
HOW DOES COMPETITION WORK?

Schools - do ther own thing and don't really share with clubs. You DO NOT need to be affiliated, your PE teacher should inform you about any Warwickshire school events.
Clubs - like to enter leagues (Youth Development League) to see if their club can win the most points to win their league. Athletes are selected (based on their times/distances) to represent the club. You will need to be affiliated.
Individual Entry - parents/athletes need to find an OPEN meeting and simply enter the athlete in their preferred events. You will need to be affiliated and use that number when entering the events.
