SEND Athletics Club
A friendly athletics club for KS2 children aged 8–11 with SEND. No formal diagnosis is needed. Sessions are run by trained coaches who understand and support different learning and communication needs, helping every child enjoy athletics in a welcoming and inclusive setting.

About the Event

We offer athletics sessions for KS2 children aged 7–11 with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities. A formal diagnosis is not required to attend.
Our trained and supportive coaches understand that children learn and engage in different ways, and they create a safe, inclusive environment to help build confidence, enjoy being active outdoors in the large open space.
It is important that we have a close communication with parents/carers about any specific issues or triggers which we need to be aware, as well as understanding any techniques which parents/carers use to navigate the emotional overwhelm some children feel.
Each child will be treated individually.
Our coach and key deliverer is Nathan Green, who has experience as an inclusion mentor in schools. Along with his EA Coach qualification he has the following;
