LAA hosts a number of fun and exciting events throughout the year, from awards evenings to trips away. Find out more by clicking any of the links below:
Residential:
Each year LAA runs a residential. This is a group seaside trip away, where LAA athletes have a chance to train together on a new track as well as taking part in many outdoor activities with fellow members.
Camps:
Held during the school holidays, camps offer an opportunity for new athletes to experience track and field, as well as allowing club members to be able to spend the day training at the track.
Daily costs apply; dates variable.
Annual Awards:
LAA hosts an award night once a year in October. Certificates for proficiency are awarded to all junior and under 13 athletes, with trophies for various athletic achievements and tenacity. The evening culminates with an overall male and female 'athlete of the year' award. All members and parents are invited to attend this free event.
